Kandy View Point, also known as Arthur’s Seat, offers the best panoramic view of Sri Lanka’s cultural capital. From this hilltop, you can see the entire city, Kandy Lake, the Temple of the Tooth, and the green hills beyond.
Many travelers visit at sunset when golden light falls over the rooftops and trees. The view becomes magical, with soft breezes and city lights slowly appearing.
Vendors nearby sell snacks, souvenirs, and refreshing king coconut. It’s a quick stop, but one that gives a full picture of Kandy’s charm in just a few minutes.
