Overview

Hurulu Eco Park is one of Sri Lanka’s lesser-known wildlife gems. Located near Habarana, it’s part of the region’s vital elephant corridor.

Hop into a safari jeep and head deep into the dry evergreen forest. You'll see elephants moving freely, especially during the dry season when they migrate here from nearby parks.

The park is also home to leopards, jungle cats, sloth bears, and many species of birds. You might spot peacocks dancing or eagles soaring above the trees.

Eco Park is a great alternative to the more crowded national parks. It offers a peaceful, raw encounter with nature — ideal for photographers and animal lovers.

Whether you're on a solo adventure or traveling with family, Hurulu Eco Park lets you experience Sri Lanka’s wild heart at your own pace.
